Fluidly combines financial data and machine learning to automate cashflow forecasting for businesses, helping business owners sleep better at night by helping them get cash in the bank when they need it. Wired included them in their Top 100 European startups, as one of the ‘Hot 10’ in the Fintech50, as well as winning the 2020 Xero Practice App of the Year award.

City Pantry set out to improve the catering options available to companies in London. Their VP is ‘making working lives better through great food’, whether your teams are in the office or working from home. Its marketplace connects local caterers to businesses that need quality food delivered to their offices or to cover events, meetings and regular team meals.

What stood out about their Employer Value Prop was that they promise that when working at City Panty “you’ll own your day-to-day”, you’ll grow, you’ll be pushed hard and you’ll learn from everyone”.

Grakn is an intelligent database that handles a higher-order of data complexity through knowledge engineering. Their technology helps organisations in various industries, including Life Sciences, Defence & Security, Financial Services and Robotics, to build intelligent systems that will change the world. In 2017, they were awarded Product of the Year by the University of Cambridge.

They’re looking to build a team of individuals who are not just the best and brightest in what they do, but also driven by a strong sense of purpose and compassion for the world. Grakn are ready to scale, so a good time to get on board and make a real impact.

Online fraud, they say, is as high as £11bn per annum, with payment fraud increasing by 53% per year. Shieldpay aims to eliminate payment fraud so that everyone, everywhere, can transact with each other with total confidence.

Medtech startup Thriva provides the UK's most convenient, at home finger prick blood test. Having recently launched its Predicted Results service, it can now provide anyone with a 95% accurate benchmark on their blood results, without having to do a test. The service is available for free, accessible to all and takes less than five minutes to complete.

With a mission including ending overdraft fees and eradicating payday loans, social-impact charity-backed Wagestream, is aiming to bring financial security and stability to the lives of working people by challenging the negative effects of the monthly pay cycle.
